Summer Riding Not Working Fri: Buck Lake 12 to 16mph 30-35 miles

About this event

Pace Miles Pace Group Leader Route
12 to 16mph 30 to 35 Allen Overstreet Riding Not Working Fri Ride
Join the group for a ride down to the Wacissa River and back.  New routes are coming in a few weeks from the new Ride Coordinator: Allen Overstreet. The calendar will be updated with the information.

We stop for a rest break at the Wacissa Springs Public Boat Ramp, which is quite scenic. There is an option to shorten the ride a bit by skipping the stretch from Tram Road down to the Boat Ramp.

Some riders may pick up the pace at points but the group generally tries to make sure that no one is dropped so long as everyone is able to maintain the advertised pace.  If you are concerned about your ability to keep up, please let everyone know that at the start so that the ride leader and other riders will know to try to keep an eye on you.

Speeds listed are rolling averages. Expect slower and faster sections depending on topography and weather.

Registration Info

Registration is not Required
Non-members must pre-register (including a signed waiver of liability) to participate. Pre-registration is optional for members. Pre-registering allows the ride leader to quickly locate your emergency contact information if needed. Also, members are covered under the club's liability insurance policy and excess accident medical expense insurance policy. In the event of a claim, pre-registration will facilitate the claims process and provide evidence that you were a ride participant. Please note that the club’s insurance policies do not cover non-members. All riders must wear a helmet and follow CCC's other ride rules as posted on this website.
